Restoration
Before the Restoration could occur, and climate had to be created in which it would be allowed to thrive; despite the intense opposition that would inevitably plague it.
In the 1440s, Johannes Gutenberg gave the world the movable type printing press. This allowed William Tyndale to mass produce the Bible, but under severe condemnation that lead to imprisonment and execution by "burning at the stake". Tyndale is best know for his quote, "I defy the Pope, and all his laws; and if God spares my life, ere many years, I will cause the boy that driveth the plow to know more of the Scriptures than thou dost!"
May Christians believe that the creation of the United State's and it's divinely inspired Constitution helped create the religious freedom that was so badly needed during that time in history.
